At 12:42 a.m., Manorville Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 111 and Chapman Boulevard. Two cars had collided in front of a 7-Eleven and McDonald's, with snow-covered roads contributing to the hazardous conditions.
Manorville Chief 31 and Chief 32 were the first fire officials to arrive on scene. Suffolk County Police Department officers were already present. Manorville Ambulance transported one female patient to the hospital.
The Manorville Fire Department stabilized both vehicles, assisted with debris cleanup, and provided traffic control to ensure the safety of all on scene. All Manorville Fire Department units were cleared from the incident and back in service by 1:12 a.m.
