On Thursday, July 28th @ 1751 Hours, Manorville Fire was dispatched to respond to a report of a Vehicle Fire. Chief Danowski was first on scene and transmitted a working Pick Up Truck fire. Suffolk County FRES Dispatchers also reported pool chemicals where in the pick up truck. Engine 5-16-2 was first due and stretched the 1 3/4" hose line from the Front Bumper of Engine 2. The crew made a quick stop on the fire. Engine 5-16-7 was 2nd due and stretched the 5" supply line to Engine 2. Fire Police and Engine 5-16-3 kept the road closed and scene safe. Brookhaven Fire Marshal's where called in to asses the clean up of the pool chemicals. All units where back in service @ 1904 Hours.
