On Tuesday, July 5th at 2035 Hours, The Manorville Fire Department was activated to respond to a Motor Vehicle Accident on County Road 111 and the Long Island Expressway for a Reported Overturned Vehicle. Assistant Chief Rosario was first on scene confirming an 2 car MVA with an overturn. Engine 5-16-2 was First Due, with Ladder 5-16-4 2nd due. The crew form Engine 2 secured the vehicle, ensured no persons where Trapped. Ladder 5-16-4 secured the scene by blocking the on coming lanes and directing traffic around the scene. Manorville Ambulance provided patient care and the SCPD took over the scene to wait for the tow truck to respond. All Manorville units where cleared from the alarm at 2101 Hours.
