On June 8th at @ 0047 Hours, The Manorville FD was activated to respond to a reported Barn Fire located @ 265 Woodland Ave. Assistant Chief Rosario was first on scene and confirmed a working barn fire in the rear yard. Engine 5-616-7 was the first engine and pulled into the driveway to backyard, stretching the 5" hose from the street into the backyard. Ladder 5-16-4 was 2nd due, with Engine 5-16-2 right behind. Ladder 4 pulled into the driveway behind 5-16-7. Engine 5-16-2 hooked into a hydrant and fed Engine 7. Tanker 5-16-9 and Engine 5-16-3 arrived on scene with additional man power to help extinguish the fire. Ladder 4 setup the tower ladder to help extinguish the fire. Mutual aid from Ridge, Mastic, East Moriches, and Eastport where also called into help. All units where released at 0422 Hours.
