On Thursday December 9th @ 0340 Hours, The Manorville FD was activated to respond to a Motor Vehicle Accident on the West Bound Long Island Expressway by the Rail Road Over pass between exit 68 and 69. Rescue 5-16-1 was first due, with Engine 5-16-2 right behind. Upon Arrival the crews found a Vehicle about 100' down a raveen with 1 victim. The vehicle was traveling west bound, and came across black ice on the Rail Road Bridge overppass. The vehicle lost control, Skidded, Flipped, Hit the guard rail and flipped over it, hit a tree and end up backed into a tree about 100' down the a steep hill. The driver was not hurt. All units where back in service by 0422 hours.
