On Saturday, August 28th @ 1416 Hours, Manorville FD was activated to respond to a Vehicle Fire in front of 130 South Street in Manorville. Assistant Chief Rosario was first on Scene and reported to the incoming crews that it was a working Pick Up Truck Fire. Engine 5-16-7 was first on scene and started to extinguish the fire. The fire was knocked down pretty quickly. Engine 5-16-2 was 2nd due, along with Fire Police 5-16-11. Units secured the scene and diverted traffic as South Street was closed down. All units where back in service @ 1458 Hours.
