On Sunday April 28th, the Manorville Fire Department was called to respond to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Wading River Road between South Street and the Long Island Expressway. A vehicle crashed into a telephone pole and caused the wires to come down. The wires where high voltage wires and the wire down caused a short between other wires on the pole, which caused the telephone pole to start burning.
