The Manorville Fire Department was activated to respond to 2 Brush Fires on March 6th and March 7th, both around 9pm each night. Both Brush Fires appear to be started with Fireworks. Remnants of different Fireworks where found at both of the Brush Fire Locations. Each Fire was small, but with Winter Winds the potential for these to become a larger fire is very possible. The Suffolk County Police will be patrolling these area further in hope of being able to prevent any further fires and possibly apprehend those causing the fires.
