On Sunday September 20th at 6:25PM, The Manorville Fire Department was activated to respond to a reported Chimney Fire. Upon arrival, The Manorville 1st and 2nd Assistant Chiefs reported smoke from the Chimney to the responding units. Manorville 5-16-6 was first on scene and had setup the aerial ladder to the roof for the crew to access the chimney on the roof. Other crew members entered the home as well. It was reported the home owner was able to extinguish the fire. The Manorville Crew used a Chimney Flare and dropped it into the Chimney, to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. All units where released at 7:20pm and back in service.
