| On Sunday, April 19th, Manorville FD help to Support the Riders of Fire MC NY1 Annual Blessing of the Bikes. The Bikes ride from Farmingville to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island in Manorville. Manorville FD sets up the "Arch" with our 2 Ladder Trucks, and we also provide Fire Police to close the southbound lanes of County Road 111 so the bikers can ride with ease from the Long Island Expressway to the Shrine. Ridge, East Moriches, Center Moriches and Mastic Fire Departments also help with providing additional Fire Police units. Yaphank Fire Department sends their Tower Ladder so the Priest can be in the bucket to bless the bikers as they ride! |
