On February 26th @ 190 Hours, Manorville FD did our annual Ice/Cold Water Rescue Training. Suffolk County Fire Academy Instructors came on site with us to perform the Training Class and the Practical in Water Training. Many of our members where in our Mustang Dry Suits to act as the victim and the rescuer to practice the maneuvers for proper rescue tactics. Backup coverage was provided by the Center Moriches and Mastic Fire Departments Water Rescue Teams. ENS coverage was provided by Manorville Community Ambulance. Thank you to the Fire Academy Instructors for an excellent training drill and Thank you to the Center Moriches FD, Mastic FD, and Manorville Ambulance for their participation in our Training Drill.
