Manorville FD Hosts Blood Drive - 3000 th Donor Achieved

On Friday, January 30, 2026, The Manorville Fire Department hosted it's Bi-Annual Blood Drive. The department has been hosting blood drives twice a year for the past 20 plus years. At today's Blood Drive, we reached our 3000th Donor, Lisa Giannelli of Manorville. The New York Blood Center brought a cake and balloons to present to the 3000th donor. Manorville FD - 1st call of 2026 - MVA on County Road 111

At 12:42 a.m., Manorville Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 111 and Chapman Boulevard. Two cars had collided in front of a 7-Eleven and McDonald's, with snow-covered roads contributing to the hazardous conditions. On Tuesday, December 30th, the MFD Junior Program held a dinner and swore in the new Officers for 2026. Fred Visser (Head Advisor) hosted the dinner and swearing in Ceremony at the MFD Headquarters. Manorville FD responds to Structure Fire

On July 4th at 0313 Hours, The Manorville Fire Department was activated to respond to a house fire on Wading River Road in the vicinity of Beech Street and Oak Street. Upon arrival, 1st Assistant Chief Steel confirmed a fully involved house fire to the county dispatch. 2nd Assistant Chief Dahlem was 2nd on Scene. Manorville FD responds to a MVA on County Road 111

At 0654 Hours on Thursday, June 26th, Manorville FD was activated to respond to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 111, immediately following a previous call. Upon arrival, a single car was found to be in the woods in the median crashed into a light pole. 1 male patient was transported by Manorville Ambulance. Manorville FD responds to a Truck Fire on the LIE

On Sunday, March 2nd @ approximately 1335 Hours, Manorville FD was activated to respond to a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival, 5-16-31 confirmed a working truck fire on the east bound lanes, just east of exit 70. Engine 5-16-2 was first due and started a line to extinguish the fire. Manorville FD Mutual Aid to the Jennings Creek Wild Fire

On Friday, November 15, the Manorville Fire Department along with the North Babylon Fire Department responded upstate NY to assist with the Jennings Creek Wild Fire in Green wood Lake Area. 8 Members spent 3 days assisting with extinguishing spot fires and assisting with protecting houses along Edgemere Ave on Greenwood Lake in Warwick NY.
